Why there is Air Pollution In New Delhi
There are many reasons why there is air pollution in New Delhi. One reason is that farmers in Punjab and Harayana, 2 states in India, burn their crops around this time. Another reason is because during Diwali, an Indian festival in which a lot of firecrackers are light up, causes a lot of smoke in the air. New Delhi is also a very populated city and many people use vehicles. That causes smoke and natural gases to go up in the air. Coal fired power plants also contribute. It is also too dangerous to walk or cycle in New Delhi. Cars are also easier to use.
